Civil Society Organizations in Mexico Support Victims and Survivors of Human Rights Abuses

Two videos illustrate how civil society organizations working on human rights issues in Mexico have pursued a variety of strategies to fight impunity. MacArthur grantees have documented human rights abuses, taken cases to court, and defended victims. Supporting and accompanying victims in their quest for truth and justice is a fundamental aspect of their work, and it has earned them trust from people of different ethnicities, nationalities, and backgrounds across the country as they work to advance human rights in Mexico.
