MacArthur Grantees Speak Up
Last week MacArthur Foundation staff responded to racist events and the systems that uphold them. Our President John Palfrey said that:
“White supremacy and the practice of racial injustice remain parts of everyday life in America…As a philanthropy devoted to creating a more just world, we wake up every day at MacArthur with the opportunity and obligation to address the structural and systemic racism that these actions reflect.”
