Last night, 60 Minutes profiled Sesame Workshop and the International Rescue Committee, two organizations teaming up on a major new effort to educate and empower young Syrian refugees:

They were the $100 million recipient in MacArthur’s inaugural 100&Change competition, and they are focused on creating a new children’s television show in the region called Ahlan Simsim, which means “Welcome Sesame” in Arabic.
