Wider Horizons, Bigger Dreams for Chicago Youth
Today on our website, we profiled My Block, My Hood, My City (M3), which takes teenagers from underserved Chicago communities on explorations across the city and beyond, exposing them to different cultures, careers, and people to show teens all that is available and accessible to them.
Founded by Jahmal Cole, M3 aims to help Chicago students “become active, engaged, and self-determined citizens.”
The program takes Chicago youths across the city and beyond. It shows them that their worlds do not have to be limited.
And takes them on tours of museums, restaurants, and businesses, including Facebook, SteelSeries, Pandora, and more.
